Getting Started

What is TGPlus?+

TGPlus is a non-custodial payment and membership management tool built specifically for paid Telegram groups. It lets group owners accept USDT payments on five blockchains — Plasma (zero gas), TRC-20 (TRON), TON, Ethereum (ERC-20), and BSC (BEP-20) — with funds going directly to the owner's wallet at zero transaction fees. The TGPlus Bot (@TGplus_io_bot) handles everything automatically: generating payment pages, verifying on-chain transactions, sending invite links, tracking expirations, and removing expired members. Think of TGPlus as the Shopify for paid Telegram communities — you set your price, add the Bot, and start earning in minutes. Visit tgplus.io to get started.

How do I get started with TGPlus?+

Getting started takes about 3 minutes and requires no coding or KYC. Step 1: Add @TGplus_io_bot to your Telegram group and promote it to admin. Step 2: Open the Bot in a private chat and configure your group — set subscription prices (monthly, yearly, or lifetime), paste your USDT wallet address, and choose which chains to accept. Step 3: TGPlus generates a unique payment page at tgplus.io/yourgroup that you can share anywhere. When someone pays, the Bot verifies the on-chain transaction automatically and sends the subscriber a private invite link. TGPlus is currently FREE during beta — no plan tier required, no member limits, no credit card.

What do I need before setting up TGPlus?+

You need three things: a Telegram group (either new or existing), admin permissions in that group, and a USDT wallet address on at least one of the five supported chains (Plasma, TRC-20, TON, ERC-20, or BEP-20). No KYC, no company registration, no credit card, and no technical skills required. If you already run a Telegram community, you can add TGPlus in under 3 minutes and start accepting payments immediately.

What types of Telegram groups does TGPlus support?+

TGPlus works with any Telegram group or supergroup. This includes public groups, private groups, and groups that have been converted to supergroups for advanced admin features. The most common use cases are crypto signal groups, education communities, research channels, and professional networks. TGPlus does not currently support Telegram channels (broadcast-only) — it's designed for interactive group chats where membership access needs to be controlled. If you're unsure whether your setup qualifies, contact Support@tgplus.io.

How long does the setup process take?+

The entire setup process takes approximately 3 minutes. Adding the Bot and promoting it to admin takes under a minute. Configuring prices and wallet address takes another minute. Sharing your payment link and receiving the first payment can happen immediately after setup. There is no approval queue, no onboarding call, and no waiting period. Once the Bot is configured, your group is live and ready to accept subscribers.

What if I don't have a crypto wallet?+

You need a USDT wallet address to receive payments through TGPlus, since all transactions are on-chain. If you don't have one yet, you can create a free wallet in minutes using apps like Trust Wallet, MetaMask (for ERC-20 and BSC), or TronLink (for TRC-20). For TON, Tonkeeper is a popular option. Once you have a wallet address, paste it into the TGPlus Bot configuration and you're ready to receive payments directly — no intermediary, no custodial risk. If you need help choosing a wallet for your preferred chain, reach out to Support@tgplus.io.

Does TGPlus work in my country?+

Yes. TGPlus works anywhere in the world. Since payments go directly on-chain to your wallet, there are no geographic restrictions — no Stripe approval required, no KYC, no bank account needed.

Payments & Crypto

What is Plasma chain and why is it zero-fee for subscribers?+

Plasma is a new EVM-equivalent L1 blockchain (mainnet beta launched September 2025) purpose-built for stablecoin payments. Its headline feature is a protocol-level paymaster that sponsors gas for USDT0 transfers when the sender uses a smart-account wallet — most notably tether.wallet, which ships with this enabled out of the box. For Telegram subscribers, that means they can pay you in USDT without holding any gas token. Settlement is ~1 second via PlasmaBFT consensus, and the receiving address format is identical to Ethereum (0x-prefix, 42 chars). On TGPlus, Plasma is marked as the Recommended chain because it removes the single biggest friction point in crypto subscriptions: the 'I don't have any TRX/ETH for gas' moment. See /plasma for a full walkthrough.

Do I need tether.wallet to receive Plasma USDT0 as a group owner?+

No. As a group owner you only receive USDT0 — you never sign on-chain transactions, so the smart-account paymaster benefit is irrelevant to your wallet. Any wallet that supports the Plasma network and can hold USDT0 works: MetaMask (add Plasma RPC), tether.wallet, Rabby, or hardware wallets via WalletConnect. Paste the 0x-prefixed receiving address into the TGPlus Bot and you're done. The zero-fee benefit is for your subscribers when they use tether.wallet — they send you USDT0 at $0 gas cost, you receive the full amount. If a subscriber uses MetaMask on Plasma instead, they'll pay a tiny amount of XPL gas (typically fractions of a cent), still cheaper than TRON.

How is Plasma different from TRON, TON, Ethereum, or BSC for receiving payments?+

All five chains deliver USDT to your wallet non-custodially with 0% TGPlus commission. The differences come down to who pays gas and how fast settlement is. Plasma: ~1 second settlement, subscriber gas is $0 via paymaster (tether.wallet) or fractions of a cent (other wallets). TRON (TRC-20): ~3 seconds, subscriber pays ~$1 in TRX gas — largest USDT supply chain. TON: ~5–10 seconds, near-zero gas, native to Telegram's ecosystem. Ethereum (ERC-20): 15–60 seconds, $1–$20+ gas depending on congestion. BSC (BEP-20): ~3 seconds, under $0.10 gas. Plasma wins on subscriber experience for new audiences; TRON wins on existing USDT liquidity and recognizability. Pick the chain your audience already holds USDT on. See /compare/plasma-vs-tron for a deeper breakdown.

Which blockchains and cryptocurrencies does TGPlus support?+

TGPlus supports USDT on five blockchains: Plasma (zero gas via protocol paymaster), TRC-20 (TRON), TON, Ethereum (ERC-20), and BSC (BEP-20). Only USDT is accepted — this ensures price stability for both group owners and subscribers. You pick one chain per group, and subscribers pay on whichever network you configured. Each chain has different gas fee characteristics: Plasma offers zero gas for subscribers using tether.wallet, TRC-20 and TON typically cost fractions of a cent, while Ethereum can be higher during network congestion. More chains and tokens may be added in future updates.

How long does it take for payments to arrive?+

Payments arrive directly in your wallet as soon as the blockchain confirms the transaction — TGPlus never holds your funds. Confirmation times vary by chain: Plasma settles in ~1 second (PlasmaBFT consensus), TRC-20 (TRON) typically confirms in 3–5 seconds, TON in 5–10 seconds, BSC in 3–5 seconds, and Ethereum in 15–60 seconds depending on gas settings. Once TGPlus detects the confirmed transaction on-chain, it automatically sends the subscriber an invite link to your group within seconds. The entire pay-to-join flow usually completes in under a minute.

What happens if a subscriber sends payment on the wrong chain or wrong amount?+

TGPlus monitors specific wallet addresses on specific chains, so a payment sent on the wrong chain will not be detected automatically. If a subscriber sends the wrong amount, TGPlus will also not match it to a pending order. In both cases, the funds go directly to your wallet (since TGPlus is non-custodial), so no money is lost. The group owner can either manually grant access to the subscriber or coordinate a resolution directly. To avoid these issues, TGPlus displays clear payment instructions with the exact amount, wallet address, and chain at checkout. Contact Support@tgplus.io if you need help resolving a mismatched payment.

What if a subscriber sends USDC instead of USDT?+

TGPlus only monitors USDT transactions, so a USDC payment will not be detected or matched to a pending order. However, since TGPlus is non-custodial, the USDC will still arrive in your wallet if the address supports that token. You can manually grant the subscriber access through the TGPlus dashboard and arrange a separate resolution for the token mismatch. To prevent this, the TGPlus payment page clearly specifies USDT as the required token with the correct contract address displayed.

Who pays the blockchain gas fees?+

The subscriber pays the gas fees when making their payment transaction. TGPlus itself charges zero transaction fees on any plan — the full USDT amount goes to your wallet. Gas costs vary by chain: Plasma sponsors gas at the protocol level for tether.wallet users (subscribers pay $0), TRC-20 (TRON) and TON typically cost fractions of a cent, BSC is usually under $0.10, and Ethereum can range from $1 to $20+ depending on network congestion. Many group owners pick Plasma or TRON specifically to remove gas friction from recurring micropayments.

Does TGPlus support fiat payments like credit cards or PayPal?+

No, TGPlus currently supports only USDT cryptocurrency payments across five blockchains (Plasma, TRC-20, TON, ERC-20, BSC). This is by design: crypto-native payments mean no KYC for group owners, no chargebacks, instant global settlement, and zero transaction fees. Fiat payment support may be considered in future updates. If fiat payments are essential for your community, contact Support@tgplus.io to discuss your use case.

Subscription Management

What happens when a member's subscription expires?+

When a subscription expires, the TGPlus Bot automatically removes the member from the group and sends them a private message with a renewal link. This happens without any manual intervention from the group owner. If the member pays to renew, they receive a new invite link and rejoin instantly. The Bot tracks all expiration dates and handles removals in real time, so you never have to manually audit your member list. You can monitor active vs. expired members from the TGPlus analytics dashboard.

Can I set up multiple pricing tiers — monthly, yearly, and lifetime?+

Yes. TGPlus supports three subscription types: monthly, yearly, and lifetime. You can enable any combination — for example, monthly + yearly, or all three at once. When both monthly and yearly plans are active, TGPlus automatically calculates and displays the discount percentage on the yearly plan (e.g., "Save 20%") to incentivize longer commitments. Each tier has its own USDT price, and subscribers choose their preferred plan at checkout. Configure your pricing tiers through the @TGplus_io_bot settings.

How do subscribers renew their subscription?+

Subscribers receive automatic renewal reminders via the TGPlus Bot before their subscription expires. The reminder includes a direct link to the payment page where they can pay for another period. If they don't renew before expiration, the Bot removes them from the group and sends a final message with the renewal link. Renewal is the same flow as initial payment — the subscriber pays USDT, TGPlus verifies the transaction on-chain, and access is restored immediately. There is no auto-debit; every renewal is an explicit payment.

Can I manually add or remove members (e.g., gift access)?+

Yes. Through the TGPlus dashboard, group owners can manually grant access to specific Telegram users — useful for gifting free memberships, onboarding collaborators, or handling special arrangements. You can also manually remove members before their subscription expires if needed. Manually added members appear in your analytics alongside paying subscribers, so you always have a complete picture of your group membership.

What if a subscriber changes their Telegram account?+

TGPlus tracks membership by Telegram user ID, so if a subscriber creates a new Telegram account, their existing subscription will not carry over automatically. The subscriber should contact the group owner to transfer their access. The group owner can manually remove the old account and grant access to the new one through the TGPlus dashboard. The original payment record remains in the system for reference. If you need help managing account transfers, contact Support@tgplus.io.

Can a kicked subscriber rejoin after being removed?+

If a subscriber was removed due to subscription expiration, they can rejoin by paying for a new subscription through the group's payment page. The Bot will issue a fresh invite link upon payment confirmation. If a subscriber was manually removed by the group owner for other reasons (e.g., rule violations), the group owner controls whether to allow re-entry. TGPlus does not automatically block previously removed users from purchasing again — access control is ultimately in the group owner's hands.

Pricing & Fees

Why is TGPlus currently free? When will pricing start?+

TGPlus is in active beta. We're focused on validating product-market fit with real group owners, not collecting plan fees. During beta, no plan tier is required — every owner pays $0 in SaaS plan fees and gets full access to all four chains and all subscription types. We'll announce a transition timeline at least 30 days before any plan fee activates, and beta users will get founding-member pricing locked in. Important distinction: TGPlus has always charged 0% commission on subscriber payments — that won't change. The SaaS plan fee (the $19 / $49 in our pricing tiers) is a separate platform fee that funds TGPlus itself, and it's $0 today.

How much does TGPlus cost?+

TGPlus is currently FREE during beta — no plan tier is required, every owner pays $0 in SaaS plan fees and TGPlus charges 0% commission on subscriber payments. After we exit beta, three plans will roll out: Free ($0) for 1 group and up to 20 members, Starter ($19/month or $190/year, save 17%) for up to 3 groups and 500 members, and Pro ($49/month or $490/year, save 17%) for up to 10 groups and unlimited members. Beta users will get founding-member pricing locked in. Either way, TGPlus will always charge 0% commission on subscriber payments — the SaaS plan fee is separate from your subscriber revenue.

How does TGPlus compare to competitors on price?+

TGPlus charges zero commission on subscriber payments — across every plan, today and forever. Competitor A takes a 10% cut of every subscriber payment, and Competitor B charges 5–10% per transaction. On a group earning $1,000/month in subscriber revenue, you would lose $100/month with Competitor A and $50–$100/month with Competitor B, while keeping 100% with TGPlus. Even at the future Starter plan ($19/month), TGPlus stays cheaper than 10% commission competitors once your monthly subscriber revenue exceeds $190. For high-revenue groups, the savings compound dramatically. And during beta, even the SaaS plan fee is $0.

What are the limitations of the free plan?+

During beta, the plan tier system is not yet active — every owner pays $0 in SaaS plan fees and has full access to all five supported chains (Plasma, TRC-20, TON, ERC-20, BSC) and all subscription types, with zero commission on subscriber payments. After we exit beta, the Free plan will include 1 group and up to 20 members (designed for validating your paid community concept before committing to a paid plan); to scale beyond 20 members or run multiple groups, you'll upgrade to Starter ($19/month or $190/year) or Pro ($49/month or $490/year). Beta users will get founding-member pricing locked in.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?+

During beta, plan switching is not yet relevant — no plan tier is active, every owner pays $0 in SaaS plan fees and has full feature access. Once plans roll out post-beta, you'll be able to upgrade from Free to Starter or Pro at any time with the change taking effect immediately, and downgrading will take effect at the end of your current billing period. If a downgrade puts you over the lower plan's member or group limits, existing members will keep access until their subscriptions expire while no new members can join beyond the limit. Plan management will be available through the TGPlus dashboard, or contact Support@tgplus.io for assistance.

How do I pay for my TGPlus subscription?+

Right now, no payment is required — TGPlus is FREE for every owner during beta. After we exit beta, the SaaS plan fees (Starter $19/month or $190/year, Pro $49/month or $490/year) will be payable in USDT on any of the five supported chains — the same crypto-native payment infrastructure your subscribers use. Plan management will live in the TGPlus dashboard with renewal reminders before each billing cycle. The Free plan will continue to require no payment setup.

Security & Privacy

Does TGPlus ever hold or access my funds?+

No. TGPlus is fully non-custodial. Subscriber payments go directly from the subscriber's wallet to your wallet address on-chain. TGPlus never touches, holds, routes, or has access to your funds at any point. The platform only monitors the blockchain for incoming transactions to your address and verifies payment amounts. This means there's no counterparty risk — your revenue is always in your control, and TGPlus cannot freeze, delay, or withhold your earnings.

What happens if TGPlus shuts down?+

Because TGPlus is non-custodial, all subscriber payments have already gone directly to your wallet. If TGPlus ceased operations, your funds remain fully in your possession — nothing is at risk. The impact would be limited to losing the Bot's automated membership management (invite links, expiration tracking, auto-removal). Your Telegram group itself, your members, and your revenue history are unaffected. You could continue managing your group manually or switch to another tool. TGPlus will provide advance notice and data export options in any shutdown scenario.

What permissions does the TGPlus Bot have? Can it read chat messages?+

The TGPlus Bot (@TGplus_io_bot) requires admin permissions to manage group membership — specifically, the ability to invite users, remove users, and access the member list. The Bot does not read, store, or process chat messages in your group. It only responds to direct commands (like /start in a private chat) and processes membership events (joins, leaves, expirations). Telegram's Bot API enforces these boundaries: bots can only access messages if explicitly configured with message access, which TGPlus does not enable.

Is my wallet address safe with TGPlus?+

Your wallet address is used solely to identify where subscriber payments should be sent and to monitor incoming transactions on-chain. TGPlus stores your wallet address in its database to display on payment pages and verify transactions. Wallet addresses are public by nature on all supported blockchains (Plasma, TRON, TON, Ethereum, BSC), so sharing one does not expose your private keys or compromise your funds. Never share your private key or seed phrase with anyone — TGPlus will never ask for it.

How is subscriber payment information protected?+

TGPlus processes payments on public blockchains, so transaction data (amounts, wallet addresses, timestamps) is inherently public on-chain. Within the TGPlus platform, subscriber records (Telegram user ID, payment history, subscription status) are stored securely and accessible only to the group owner through their authenticated dashboard. TGPlus does not collect personal data like names, emails, or phone numbers from subscribers — only their Telegram user ID and on-chain payment data, which are already public.

What if the Bot is accidentally removed from my group?+

If the TGPlus Bot is removed from your group, automated membership management (invite links, expiration removals, renewal reminders) will pause immediately. Your existing members remain in the group, and no funds are affected since TGPlus is non-custodial. To restore functionality, simply re-add @TGplus_io_bot to your group and promote it to admin again. The Bot will reconnect with your existing configuration — no data is lost, and no reconfiguration is needed. Pending payments during the downtime will be processed once the Bot is restored.

Use Cases

How do crypto signal groups use TGPlus?+

Crypto signal groups are TGPlus's most common use case. Signal providers set a monthly subscription (typically $30–$200 USDT) and share their tgplus.io/groupname link on Twitter, YouTube, or other communities. Subscribers pay in USDT on their preferred chain, receive an instant invite link, and join the group in under a minute. The Bot handles renewals automatically — sending reminders before expiration and removing non-renewing members. Signal providers use the analytics dashboard to track subscriber growth, monthly recurring revenue, renewal rates, and churn. The zero transaction fee model means signal providers keep 100% of subscriber payments.

How do education and course communities use TGPlus?+

Education creators use TGPlus to monetize course communities, study groups, and mentorship circles. Common setups include a lifetime tier for full-course access ($99–$500 USDT) and a monthly tier for ongoing mentorship or Q&A sessions ($15–$50 USDT). The SEO-optimized landing page at tgplus.io/yourgroup helps attract organic traffic from search engines, and the multi-chain support ensures students worldwide can pay without friction. Educators benefit from the Pro plan's full analytics dashboard and API access to track student engagement.

How do research and analysis communities use TGPlus?+

Research communities — including on-chain analysts, macro researchers, and DeFi strategists — use TGPlus to monetize premium insights. These groups typically charge $50–$300 USDT/month for high-value analysis. The yearly subscription option with automatic discount display helps lock in committed subscribers. The analytics dashboard lets research providers track which pricing tiers perform best, monitor churn rates, and optimize their content strategy based on renewal patterns. Non-custodial payments mean researchers don't need a business entity or bank account to start earning.

How do professional communities (developers, designers, coaches) use TGPlus?+

Professional communities use TGPlus to gate access to peer networks, accountability groups, and expert Q&A sessions. Developers might charge $10–$30/month for a coding mastermind group, while executive coaches might charge $100–$500/month for a private advisory circle. The flexible tier system supports different access levels — for example, a basic monthly tier for general discussion and a premium lifetime tier for one-on-one access. TGPlus's crypto-native approach is especially appealing to web3 professionals, freelancers, and international communities where traditional payment processing is cumbersome or unavailable.

Troubleshooting

A subscriber paid but didn't receive an invite link — what should I do?+

First, verify the payment on-chain using a block explorer (Plasmascan for Plasma USDT0, Tronscan for TRC-20, Tonscan for TON, Etherscan for ERC-20, BscScan for BSC). Confirm the transaction was sent to the correct wallet address, on the correct chain, with the exact USDT amount. If the payment is confirmed on-chain but TGPlus didn't detect it, this may be due to blockchain congestion or a temporary monitoring delay. Wait a few minutes and check the TGPlus dashboard for the payment record. If it still doesn't appear, you can manually grant access through the dashboard and report the issue to Support@tgplus.io with the transaction hash.

The Bot is not responding — how do I fix it?+

If the TGPlus Bot is unresponsive, check the following in order: (1) Confirm the Bot is still a member of your group and has admin permissions — it may have been accidentally removed or demoted. (2) Try sending /start to @TGplus_io_bot in a private chat to verify the Bot is online. (3) Check the TGPlus status page or Telegram support channel (t.me/TGplus_io_support) for any known outages. (4) Re-add the Bot to your group and re-promote it to admin. In most cases, the issue is a permission change, and restoring admin access resolves it immediately. If the problem persists, contact Support@tgplus.io.

My group settings aren't taking effect — what's wrong?+

Settings changes (pricing, wallet address, enabled chains) are applied immediately after saving in the Bot configuration. If changes don't appear on your payment page, try clearing your browser cache or opening the page in an incognito window. If the Bot behavior doesn't reflect the new settings (e.g., old pricing in messages), restart the configuration by sending /settings to @TGplus_io_bot in a private chat. Ensure you're editing the correct group if you manage multiple groups. If settings still don't apply, contact Support@tgplus.io with your group details.

The revenue dashboard shows inaccurate data — how do I fix it?+

The TGPlus dashboard derives revenue data from on-chain payment records. If you notice discrepancies, check whether manually added members (who didn't pay through TGPlus) are skewing the numbers. Also verify that payments on all enabled chains are being tracked — if you recently added a new chain, historical payments on that chain before it was enabled won't appear retroactively. Dashboard data refreshes periodically; allow a few minutes for recent transactions to appear. For persistent inaccuracies, contact Support@tgplus.io with specific examples so the team can investigate.

A subscriber says the payment page won't load — what should I do?+

Payment page loading issues are typically caused by network connectivity, browser compatibility, or ad-blockers. Ask the subscriber to try: (1) Opening the page in a different browser (Chrome or Safari recommended). (2) Disabling ad-blockers or VPN extensions that might interfere. (3) Clearing browser cache and cookies. (4) Trying on a mobile device if they're on desktop, or vice versa. The TGPlus payment page at tgplus.io/yourgroup should work on all modern browsers without JavaScript requirements. If the issue persists across browsers and devices, report it to Support@tgplus.io with the subscriber's browser and device information.

How do I contact TGPlus support?+

TGPlus offers two support channels: email at Support@tgplus.io for detailed inquiries and account-specific issues, and Telegram at t.me/TGplus_io_support for quick questions and real-time assistance. Starter and Pro plan subscribers receive priority support with faster response times. Pro subscribers also get a dedicated account manager. When contacting support, include your group name, Telegram user ID, and a description of the issue — this helps the team resolve your case faster. Support is available 7 days a week.

Technical & Integration

Does TGPlus offer an API?+

API access is planned as a Pro plan feature once we exit beta (Pro will be $49/month or $490/year). The TGPlus API will let you programmatically manage groups, query subscriber data, verify payment status, and integrate TGPlus into existing workflows or applications. Common use cases include syncing subscriber data with a CRM, building custom analytics dashboards, and automating welcome sequences. If you need API access for a specific integration today, contact Support@tgplus.io — we're prioritizing the API roadmap based on real beta-user requests.

Does TGPlus support Webhook notifications?+

Webhook notifications are planned as a Pro plan feature once we exit beta (Pro will be $49/month or $490/year). TGPlus will send real-time HTTP POST notifications to your endpoint for events including new payments, subscription expirations, member joins, and member removals. This will enable integration with external systems like Notion databases, Discord bots, email marketing tools, or custom dashboards. Webhook payloads will include transaction details, subscriber Telegram ID, and event timestamps. If you have a specific Webhook use case during beta, contact Support@tgplus.io — we're prioritizing the rollout based on real demand.

Can I use a custom domain with TGPlus?+

Custom domains are on our roadmap for a future release. Currently, all groups receive an auto-generated short URL in the tgplus.io/xxxxxxxxxx format (a 10-character random slug) when activation completes, so you can share the link immediately. Personalized slugs (e.g., tgplus.io/yourname) are planned for the P3 milestone — contact Support@tgplus.io if personalized URLs or custom domains are important for your use case so we can factor your needs into the roadmap.

What new features are planned for TGPlus?+

TGPlus is actively developing several features for upcoming releases. Planned additions include: support for additional cryptocurrencies beyond USDT, fiat payment gateway integration, advanced analytics with cohort analysis and revenue forecasting, multi-group discount bundles, referral and affiliate tracking, automated content drip sequences, and enhanced AI-powered moderation tools. Pro plan subscribers get early access to beta features and can influence the roadmap through direct feedback channels. Follow the TGPlus Telegram channel (t.me/TGplus_io_support) for the latest updates or email Support@tgplus.io with feature requests.
